A shop drawing is a drawing or set of drawings produced by the contractor, supplier, manufacturer, subcontractor, or fabricator. Shop drawings are typically required for prefabricated components.

In construction management are shop drawings, material data, samples, and product data. Submittals are required primarily for the architect and engineer to verify that the correct products will be installed on the project.

3D Laser Scanning/Templating/Measuring tool – the 3D Disto captures an unlimited number of measurements on any job site and exports to a 3D CAD file.

Manufacturing, specifically the crafting of individual parts as a solo product or as part of a larger combined product by cutting, bending, and assembling processes.

Millwork Engineers was founded in July 2016 by Jeremy Geib. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology and is a California Class B General contractor. Jeremy has over 15 years in construction experience ranging from heavy construction to interior finishes. Jeremy has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest and brightest companies across multiple industries working under and learning from the best along the way. The Vision

From its conception, Jeremy has envisioned a team of self-sufficient Millwork Engineers that take millwork plans or ideas from estimating to installation completely independently. This can be done remotely from anywhere in the world for projects or clients anywhere in the world. There are 3 tiers of Millwork Engineers based on experience and capabilities.

Millwork Engineer I

This is an entry level millwork engineer with no experience in millwork design but a 4-year degree in any discipline is required. Most of the millwork engineers start off here, depending on how quickly they pick up the position and its responsibilities determines how long they stay at tier I. Duties include creating estimates, assisting projects, and observing installations.

Millwork Engineer II

This is a Millwork Engineer that has been with the company for at least 1 year performing duties as a Millwork Engineer I. They will have completed 40 hours of AutoCAD and Microvellum training, submitted a minimum of 30 estimates, and observed a minimum of 5 on site installations.

Millwork Engineer III

A millwork Engineer III has met all the requirements for the previous tiers and has successfully completed a total of 5 projects conception to completion under the supervisor and monitor of a Millwork Engineer III.
